German tool manufacturer Marbach opts for Kiefel system
24 aug 2015
Kiefel GmbH, Freilassing has been building efficient pressure forming machines for the packaging industry for decades. The SPEEDFORMER KMD series sets standards worldwide and stands for reliable and innovative machine construction. The thermoforming specialists in Freilassing now have a reason to be happy. Marbach Werkzeugbau GmbH, Heilbronn is a company known for premium thermoformed tools and has opted for a Kiefel KMD 85 SPEED for its development centre.
Marbach's fundamental decision to focus more closely on "steel-rule customers" in the thermoformed tools business area was also received very positively by Kiefel. The investment in a thermoforming machine is not just decisive but also shows great ambition. The fact that they opted for the Kiefel KMD 85 SPEED is further confirmation of the good reputation that Kiefel systems have in the steel-rule technology sector. It is the customers who mainly benefit from the combination of know-how from the two innovators.
"A significant aspect for Marbach is that the KMD 85 SPEED can hold tools with a huge range of designs", said Hans Masche, Managing Director of Marbach Werkzeugbau GmbH. "This ensures that we can test our tools in the best way before delivery."
Marbach was founded in 1923 and is a global group of companies for packaging solutions in the die cutting technology, tool construction and technology for thermoforming sectors. The company employs around 1,200 people and operates successfully for its customers around the world with branches and a network of partners in addition to its headquarters in Heilbronn.
