On the 5th of June 2013, the Kiefel “Packaging Day” took place in Freilassing. More than 110 customers from 21 countries visited Kiefel to find out about innovations in the packaging technology.
The new launched Automatic Pressure Forming Machine Speedformer KMD 64 was presented for the first time in production with great success this day.
Outstanding attribute: The forming area of the KMD 64 corresponds to the dimension of the quarter of a EUR pallet. Furthermore, the machine is a real Speedformer characterized by a high output and especially low production costs.
Convinced of the performance of the new Speedformer is amongst others the Dutch company „Meulendijks“.
„Meulendijks“ ordered three KMD 64 Automatic Pressure Forming Machines during the KIEFEL “Packaging Day”.
Beside the new KMD 64, KIEFEL presented further machines of the KMD Speedformer Series and cup forming machines of the KTR Thermorunner Series.
The live presentation of the KIEFEL “CAT-System” - creating and optimizing recipes - has also been part of the interesting program.
Topic-related presentations by Kiefel and its partner companies SML and Octal rounded off this successful event.
