NATUREFORMER KFT ahead in the "Sustainable Design" category.
Update October 25, 2021:
With our NATUREFORMER series, machines for the production of packaging from natural fibers, we are among the 82 finalists for the German Sustainability Award in the "Design" category. Out of originally more than 1,000 applicants, we have been able to fight our way through so far and are now eagerly awaiting the award ceremony on December 2, 2021 in Düsseldorf.

Kiefel's technology Fiber Thermoforming has been nominated for the German Sustainability Award in the Design category. The machines of the NATUREFORMER series were able to convince in the preselection by their sustainable overall concept: It enables the production of packaging from renewable and biodegradable natural fibers or plant residues while at the same time ensuring efficient use of energy and resources, state-of-the-art safety technology as well as innovative tools. The possible applications are diverse and range from the food & take-away sector to technological packaging, coffee capsules or flower pots.
With the NATUREFORMERS, Kiefel expanded its own material processing expertise and now offers customers suitable turnkey solutions for packaging made from classic, recycled, bio-based plastics or various natural fibers and cellulose.
The German Sustainability Award
The German Sustainability Award is the national award for excellence in sustainability in business, communities and research. With over 1,000 applications, the award is one of the largest of its kind in Europe. It honors groundbreaking contributions to the transformation toward a sustainable future. The winners of the award will be announced at the end of the year.
